Abstract: »The general objective of this research is to analyze studies on psychological alterations in victims of sexual exploitation from the year 2010 to the year 2022. The methodology used is based on the interpretive paradigm, qualitative, non-experimental cross-sectional design, and under the analysis of the PRISMA method; The chosen population is made up of 50 scientific articles on the psychological traits and characteristics of victims of sexual exploitation according to the inclusivity criteria of the study in the databases: Google academic, Psicodoc, Proquest, Redalyc, Dialnet and Scorpus. Concluding that, the PRISMA method has made it possible to specify results in a clear, objective and transparent way in the application of systematic reviews; indicating that people in childhood and adolescence are the most affected by sexual exploitation. Which manifest significant psychological alterations such as anxiety, post-traumatic stress and depression, however, in a small percentage of victims they do not present psychological alterations.« (Source: Thesis)
